Popsicles In the Park Recap
On October 26th , Sallie's Halo hosted our first Kick off event series "Popsicles in the Park" (PIP) hosted at Oyster Creek Park located at 4033 Hwy 6, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
We gave out healthy popsicles to individuals and families, then gauged people's interest in joining our organization. Individuals were able to learn more about our support services for cancer patients, volunteer opportunities, and ways to donate. We also provided information for foods that cause cancer and cancer preventing foods. Our Popsicles in the Park (PIP) event series will continue in different parts of Houston and continue to expand with the growth of our organization.
